Moon, Weather, and Matters of the Soul

Barbers through centuries cut hair and talk to clients. The weather is usually mentioned. Casual conversation among professionals often addresses the weather. Some even discuss what is changing in the sky. It is often a matter of pride and knowledge. Sometimes its just a way to pass the time. But the whole subject is so common that Jesus talks about it relative to matters of the soul, which often pale in comparison to our frequent subjects of conversations. When I observed last night and thought about the observing period today, it became the basis for a story. A small version of the painting is below. Go to the link to see a larger version of the painting and the whole story.

About rolandlinda3

We avidly enjoy the observation of God's creation in terms of stars, the moon, and earthly things. We teach others to observe what He has made. Part of the outreach and work is to maintain a site: [or use the new address]. This site has been changed to include this blog along with three other inspirational blogs. We invite you to take a look and follow us there. Whether here or at the new site, our purpose is unchanged. We aim to share the love of Jesus Christ, who has graciously kept us and made us excited about seeing what he has made. Our faith is a walking faith, so faith and works, as much as we are able, are married together.
